do they glow during the day?
In daylight and normally lit spaces, you’ll see your green or purple stars. After charging them under light, their stellr blue glow becomes visible in darker surroundings. Both colourways glow blue.
Can I use them instead of running lights or reflective gear?
These stars are an accessory for a little extra fun after dark. They aren’t safety lights or reflective equipment, and you shouldn’t rely on them to make you visible to drivers. Keep using appropriate lighting and visibility gear for night runs.
Glow imagery is illustrative. Actual brightness and appearance vary with charging conditions and surrounding light.
How bright is the glow?
Expect a glow from the stars themselves. They won’t project a beam or light up your surroundings. You’ll see the glow best after a fresh charge in a dark space. Streetlights and bright indoor lighting can make it harder to see.
How does the glow work?
The stars contain strontium aluminate, a pigment that absorbs energy from light and releases it as a visible afterglow. Darkness makes that glow easier to see. The stars need exposure to suitable light first.
